It's demolition time baby!! After nearly two months of living at our cabin in the woods we tackle some large projects that... well, we don't have the skills for 😂 . Roofing, windows & more!

Here it is friends: the new adventure we've been dreaming and saving for since we first met 8 years ago. We've always envisioned moving into the woods by the lake and building our dream tiny cabin as a home base for us to come back to in between our international travels. We cannot wait to have a place to call our own!! After 6 weeks up here we are really settling into the slow pace of life and the peace and quiet. And this week we tackle some projects that we really don't have the skills for... roofing and windows! 🌲 Looking forward to all of the home renovations and cabin improvements we'll be tackling this winter!

How Did We Get Here?
Abandoning our Van in Africa bit.ly/2Kff0HT
After an incredible 3 years of living, working, and traveling in our self converted Sprinter Van we made the very tough decision to abandon it in Africa to take a rescue flight back to Canada. As it has for all of us this global pandemic has flipped our world upside down. When our Prime Minister announced that he was sending repatriation flights over to Africa to pick up Canadians who were stuck (due to border closures) we consulted with friends and family closest to us and realized that in this time of crisis we should be back in our home country. Halting our dream of driving around the world was a hard pill to swallow which is why we knew we needed a big project to keep our mind + body busy while social distancing back here in Toronto. Enter building an off-grid tiny house on wheels!! But after nearly 6 months, we realized that our dreams of continuing van life across North America in our new van build were not a current reality with the state of the world. So, we've found ourselves pursuing something we've dreamed of since we first got together 8 years ago... a cabin in the woods 😊
Tour the renovations we've done to our self converted sprinter van:

I've read there are issues with that kind of roofing and wifi. Are you experiencing that?

You young people are doing a really good job of renovating your cabin in the woods with the help of your families! Hope you get a lot of happy years living in it when not in your van. It will be nice for you to have a comfortable "pied à terre". Tim should not have any trouble finding someone if he's looking. He's a really good looking man and a wonderful worker. I hope he meets a really good woman.
Your videos are so good to watch at 1.5 speed

Tim is actually the best!
In Germany there are three important rules: 1) The arm that carries food to the mouth is not allowed to touch the table 2) The food is carried to the mouth and n o t the mouth to the food 3) As long as one hand carries food to the mouth, the other hand should be upon the table if you are not masturbating :-))) In Germany! Perhaps not elsewhere!
Tim is a great guy.

I love that you guys are going to donate the mattresses ♥️ makes me love you guys even more! The linens could be donated too. I would recommend donating them to a homeless shelter ♥️
Merch yay
Why is this house made of cardboard kind of thing? What happens when it rains? 🙆😣 Doesn't that railing go bad when it rains because it's wood? I am so confused 😕
@Eamon & Bec I'm not a contractor or a plumber but wouldn't it be a good idea to insulate the pex that was run under the deck for the outdoor kitchen? Pex does have flex in it so it is less likely to burst than traditional plumbing but the water in it will still freeze and potentially cause damage I would think.
TIM IS A GEM
I love Tim aha
Please, please, please do not use the chuck on your driver as a driver bit. Bits can be easily stripped and replaced cheaply. You’re impact has one chuck, and you won’t enjoy replacing that...
Eamon wanted to say it's to hot the curry is too hot but time was all like nah it's cool did yall see eamon look at Tim for biting the chilli lol Tim's a great character to add to yalls roster
Tim is THE MANNNN!!! Never have I ever had a good helper like him! ~ mama Telle And Daddy Telle would say the same thing!!
Hey there!! I think you need a Spud Bar. It's my favorite for cutting roots and splitting rock. About 25 pounds of steel and it is a great leaver too. www.hooverfence.com/seymour-digger-tamper-barged-steel-6-ft-long-chisel-point
Be sure to use heavy gloves when you use a spud bar, to prevent blisters.
Your place is coming along and looking great!
Still laughing!
"You peed of the deck of something?" LOOOOOL
Just here watching this video again waiting for you new one 😭 anything to help you guys out! ☺️☺️
Guys, what does "should be pizza pie" mean? (Sorry, I'm just learning English)
